Up Rocket Pics 1 Rocket Photos 2 XL5 2002

This is what you came for... some XL5 rocket shots!  The "big brother" of the pair I built was over 5 feet long, 5 inches in diameter, weighed 12 pounds and was the coolest thing to see lift off.  It's little brother was 2.5 inches in diameter and was 3 feet long, which is out of scale, but helped it maintain a stable flight.

The BIG XL5 going up on a J350.  This was its very first launch in 1996 at LDRS 15, and everyone was real nervous!
